CNCG participa da 8ª Reunião Ordinária do Conselho Nacional de Segurança Pública em Brasília

O Conselho Nacional de Comandantes-Gerais PM participou da 8ª Reunião Ordinária do Conselho Nacional de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social - CNSP, que inaugurou uma nova etapa no seu funcionamento, com a posse dos Conselheiros e a atualização de estratégias de atuação.
A Reunião ocorreu no dia 11 de dezembro de 2023, das 10h00 às 18h00, no Palácio da Justiça, Ed. Sede do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública, na cidade de Brasília.
Criado pela Lei no 13.675, de 11 de junho de 2018, o CNSP é um colegiado permanente, integrante estratégico do Sistema Único de Segurança Pública - SUSP, e tem competência consultiva, propositiva e de acompanhamento social das atividades de segurança pública e defesa social, respeitadas as instâncias decisórias e as normas de organização da administração pública.
Nesse sentido, a 8ª Reunião atualizou diretrizes que possibilitam o desempenho do papel fundamental do Conselho na elaboração de políticas de segurança pública, essenciais para a garantia de direitos e do Estado Democrático de Direito.
