Manifestação de repúdio – Desfile da Escola de Samba “Vai-Vai”

O CONSELHO NACIONAL DOS COMANDANTES-GERAIS DAS POLÍCIAS MILITARES DO BRASIL – CNCG-PM, colegiado que reúne todos os comandantes de Polícias Militares em exercício, vem a público manifestar, veementemente, repúdio e indignação à descabida e inaceitável referência feita às Policias Militares, e aos seus integrantes, pelo Grêmio Recreativo Cultural e Social Escola de Samba Vai-Vai, na noite do último sábado (10/2), durante o desfile da agremiação, no Sambódromo do Anhembi, em São Paulo-SP.
A pretexto de retratar a “realidade” e expressar a “sua arte”, os carnavalescos da sobredita entidade foram extremamente deselegantes e levianos, ao propagar uma visão distorcida e preconceituosa a respeito do trabalho de uma Instituição essencial à manutenção ao Estado Democrático de Direito e garantidora do exercício pleno da cidadania.
Curiosamente, o lamentável episódio ocorre exatamente no momento em que milhares de homens e mulheres policiais militares estão empenhados na segurança e na proteção de milhões de pessoas que estão (ou não) no desfrute dos momentos de alegria proporcionados pelo período momesco nos diferentes rincões do Brasil.
Por fim, o CNCG-PM reafirma o compromisso das Polícias Militares com a defesa intransigente da ética e com o provimento de uma segurança pública de excelência para todos os brasileiros e brasileiras.
